When we asked Shrivers Hospice patient, Barb Edge, what the one thing she’d like to if given the chance... she wanted to go to the casino.

Barb loved going to the casino with her family, but it had been years since she had made the trip. She really wanted to experience it one more time for her birthday. This summer, Barb got her chance. We organized a trip to Scioto Downs in Columbus. Her Shrivers Hospice social worker, Kayla Hite, joined her on her special day. They played the slots, ate a steak dinner, and Barb returned with a little change in her pocket. We were so thrilled to plan this day for Barb.
